Accountant II

Join Our Mission: Accountant II at Charlotte Rescue Mission

Are you an experienced accountant with a passion for making a difference? Charlotte Rescue Mission, a Christ-centered residential drug and alcohol recovery program, is seeking a dedicated Accountant II to join our team.

In this critical role, you will:

– Assist with monthly and fiscal year-end closes

– Manage accounts payable processing and vendor relationships

– Process payroll-related financial information

– Maintain fixed asset records

– Provide backup support for the Assistant Controller

The ideal candidate will have:

– A bachelor’s degree in accounting and 4+ years of accounting experience, OR 10+ years of accounting experience

– Proficiency with PC applications like Excel, Word, and accounting software

– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

– Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities

– The ability to lift 30 lbs. and sit/stand for extended periods
