Director of Recovery Living Program

The Director of Recovery Living Program is responsible for managing the Recovery Living transition process.  The Director provides oversight for the policies and procedures followed by the recovery living team. Must be a self-starter and be able to multi-task, and a team player that is has the ability to work with various departments to achieve overall goals of the mission.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages and supervises the recovery living team
  • Manages the transition of core residents to case management/aftercare services
  • Ensures that all recovery living procedures and protocols are adhered to in a consistent, ethical, and efficient manner
  • Oversee flow of communication between referral agencies for workforce development services
  • Development and maintenance of effective workflow for recovery living processes
  • Oversee recovery living processes, program feeds, ledger management, and outcomes
  • Ensure Recovery Living information is regularly communicated to Advancement for purposes of volunteer services, GIK and major donor communication and grant requests/reporting
  • Other duties as assigned by Chief Program Officer
Qualifications

Knowledge:

  • Licensed or Certified in Substance Abuse Counseling or related field.
  • Previous experience working with substance abuse and dependence
  • Previous leadership experience

Skills:

  • Appropriate communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows work environment and Microsoft Office

Ability:

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, sit, and stand for long periods of time
  • Must have clear speaking, patient listening, and excellent writing skills
  • Must maintain high confidentiality
  • Must be able to defuse volatile situations and react appropriately in an emergency
  • Ability to multi-task
