Beyond 120 Days

The Recovery Living Program Consists of Four Different Paths
KEY
Residents focus on obtaining a part-time job while attending school after completing a 120-day core program. They actively work through a 12-step program and enroll in a financial literacy program, transitioning to the Community Living Program upon completing this stage or leaving school.
LIFESKILLS
Residents spend 6-9 months developing life and coping skills while working in one of three areas: the Community Matters Café, the kitchen at Dove’s Nest, or with the Charlotte Rescue Mission Maintenance Team. During this program, residents also engage in a 12-step program, participate in the Working Smart course, and enroll in a financial literacy program. After completing this stage, they move into the Community Living Program.
TRANSITION
This program emphasizes securing a full-time job after graduation from the 120-day core program. Residents work through a 12-step program, enroll in a financial literacy program, and then advance to the Community Living Program.
COMMUNITY
LIVING
Residents who complete the Key, Life Skills, or Transition programs progress to this stage. In addition to taking on independent responsibilities, residents continue their involvement in a 12-step program.

I owe my recovery to the grace of God and the unwavering support of the Charlotte Rescue Mission, which has walked with me every step of the way.
