We Can Partner Together

join us

At Charlotte Rescue Mission, volunteers not only help with essential tasks but also send a message to residents that the community cares about them. As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ to those working to overcome addiction as part of our residential recovery program.

Volunteers must be at least 13 years old to volunteer at Rebound and at least 16 to volunteer at Dove’s Nest. Volunteers under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Court Ordered Community Service
We are not permitted to provide, sign, or verify any type of documentation for court-ordered community service.
Graduates & Family/Friends of Residents
No friends or family members of current residents are permitted to volunteer. Charlotte Rescue Mission graduates cannot volunteer until one year after completion of the program.
It’s about helping people become stable and providing clean clothes. We’d want the same if we were in that situation. Anyone could be in need—we’re all the same, just with different circumstances.

Right now, our President & CEO Trina Fullard is hosting a live series of conversations for 24 hours, along with Presidents of other rescue missions around the country. The purpose of this is to raise awareness about our friends and neighbors who may be sleeping on a park bench every single night.

Help us get these men and women off the streets and see their lives transformed through the work we do day in and day out.
