How you can help.

Shop With Us

A quick and easy way to donate items for our residents is to shop our Needs Lists. (PLEASE READ BELOW FIRST!)

Important Update: To prepare for our annual inventory check, our Gift-In-Kind departments at Rebound and Dove’s Nest will PAUSE accepting donations (clothing, hygiene, etc.) from December 18th to January 6th. Monetary donations are still welcome! Thank you for your continued support!

Donate New and/or Gently Used Items

We accept the following gently used items:
  • In-season clothing
  • Pajamas*
  • Activewear
  • Shoes
  • Belts
  • Accessories (purses, wallets, jewelry, etc)

*Item accepted at Dove’s Nest campus only

We do not accept the following items:
  • Travel-Sized Toiletries
  • Baby & Toddler Clothing and Toys
  • Stuffed Animals
  • High Chairs, Car Seats, Strollers
  • Furniture
  • Out of Season Clothing Items
  • Household Appliances
  • Items containing Alcohol

Donations for our Dove’s Nest Women and Children’s Campus can be brought to:
2855 West Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28208
Mon-Fri 9am-4pm

*Dove’s Nest is the second building at the bottom of the hill.
*Dove’s Nest treats children between the ages of 3 and 11.

Donations for Community Matters Cafe can be brought to:
821 W. 1st Street, Charlotte, NC 28202
Mon-Fri 7am-2pm

Host a Donation Drive

Would your church, company, neighborhood, or group like to work together to collect much-needed items for Charlotte Rescue Mission? It’s easy! We’ll drop off and pick up the collection bins and help suggest items for the collection. All you have to do is set the dates and rally together to fill your bin.
