The Recovery Living Program at Charlotte Rescue Mission is designed to guide individuals through a structured path of personal growth, skill-building, and independence. Anchored by active participation in a 12-step program and supplemented with practical tools such as financial literacy and life skills development, this program offers a supportive framework for residents to achieve lasting recovery and self-sufficiency. Case managers assist residents by focusing on employment, education, community engagement, and personal responsibility to foster a well-rounded and sustainable recovery journey.<\/div>

Residents focus on obtaining a part-time job while attending school after completing a 120-day core program. They actively work through a 12-step program and enroll in a financial literacy program, transitioning to the Community Living Program upon completing this stage or leaving school.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Residents spend 6-9 months developing life and coping skills while working in one of three areas: the Community Matters Caf\u00e9, the kitchen at Dove’s Nest, or with the Charlotte Rescue Mission Maintenance Team. During this program, residents also engage in a 12-step program, participate in the Working Smart course, and enroll in a financial literacy program.
