Dove\u2019s Nest: Women\u2019s Addiction Recovery Center

We realize addiction is a family disease and it touches every aspect of the family, including children. While at Dove\u2019s Nest, children also receive clinical care to begin their healing process. We strive to help mothers gain the tools necessary to achieve long-term sobriety while preserving and strengthening bonds with their children.           The primary requirement for admission to the Dove\u2019s Nest Women\u2019s Program at Charlotte Rescue Mission is that the individual seeking admission must call for themselves and participate in a telephone screening to determine their appropriateness for the program. We understand the concern and frustration family members and friends may have regarding their loved ones, however, that individual must demonstrate some desire to enter treatment, and calling for admission themselves begins the recovery process.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

          Please call for yourself and include a return number where we can reach you when leaving a message. When speaking with admissions staff, you will participate in a screening interview. During the interview you will be asked about some of the following:<\/p>

          • Previous admissions to programs<\/strong><\/li>
          • The last time you used drugs or alcohol<\/strong><\/li>
          • Reason you are seeking treatment currently<\/strong><\/li>
          • Your current legal status<\/strong><\/li>
          • Your current medical condition<\/strong><\/li>
          • Your current psychiatric condition<\/strong><\/li>
          • Your ability to participate in therapeutic work<\/strong><\/li>
          • Any anticipated needs beyond what the program offers<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

            Based on the information you provide; you will be notified of any additional steps that need to be taken before you are given an admission date. Please understand that the admission date is provisional \u2013 meaning that having an appointment is not a guarantee of acceptance into the program. Additional screenings take place once you get here. Being honest in your prescreening interview will be helpful in successful admission on your admission date.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

                  Charlotte Rescue Mission is a leader in providing free Christian-based residential recovery programs that help people struggling with the disease of addiction achieve long-term sobriety, find employment and stable housing, and restore and build healthy relationships.<\/h5>\n
                  In the 120-day structured program,<\/span> residents will experience weekly individual counseling, group therapy, education classes, life skills training, Biblical application for emotional wounds, and sober support group development. Our multi-faceted approach ensures that our residents develop a deep understanding of the root causes of their addiction.
