Donor Relations and Communications Assistant (PT)

The Donor Relations Associate provides support for the Office of Donor Relations and Communications.  This position is part time, 20 hours per week.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data entry of batches into Raiser’s Edge as needed.
  • Work with Donor Relations team to generate thank you letters and receipts in a timely manner.
  • Open all CRM mail each morning and prepare batches to be scanned.
  • Maintain office supplies and stationary items for Development Department and place orders, as needed. Responsible for keeping the Development office organized and stocked with materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our donors.
  • Pick up mail at Post Office each morning.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/ or ability required.

Knowledge:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two year’s work experience or associate’s degree preferred.

Skill:

  • Appropriate verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows work environment and Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented, able to work quickly and accurately with data
  • Experience with data entry helpful
  • Experience in Raiser’s Edge helpful

Ability:

  • Must be able to spend the majority of time sitting, speaking, listening, or writing.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

Kitchen Assistant (PT)

This is a seasonal position that will run from August 2017 until 31 December 2017. Will be required to work weekends.

Dove’s Nest Women’s Program

 

Facility Tech (as needed)

Requirements:
– If in recovery, must have 2 years of continuous sobriety.

– Hours will vary and must be available to work any shift – day evening, and night.

– Must be a safe driver and be able to drive a passenger van in daylight and at night.  Must be familiar with the greater Charlotte area.

Duties include driving residents to appointments and meeting, monitoring resident adherence to structured guidelines, and other duties.  This person may be cross trained to work in the medication room as well to administer medications.
