URGENT Needs: Dove’s Nest is in desperate need of laundry pods (HE only) and alarm clocks without radios.
Everyday Needs (Rebound & Dove’s Nest): Tea, Sugar, Salad Dressing, Cooking Oil, Frozen Vegetables, Combination Locks, Men’s and Women’s Underwear/T-shirts, CATS Bus Passes.
*Men’s Work Clothes: As our Rebound residents are looking for jobs and gaining employment, we are in great need of work items, they are in need of various clothing items to help them look the part. These items include work boots (both regular and steel toes sizes 9-12), cargo/carpenter work pants, work t-shirts (plain black, brown, blue, white), white dress shirts, pants (black, navy blue, or khaki) and dress shoes (sizes 9-12).
*Men’s Hair Grooming: We are looking for experienced barbers to volunteer their services and provide haircuts for our Rebound Men’s Facility residents on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd Saturday of each month from 9am-12pm or 1pm-3pm.
Learning Center Needs: Our new Learning Center is up and running, and in need of supplies to implement a new curriculum. Needs include: Disinfectant wipes for keyboards, ear buds, hand sanitizer (alcohol free), boxes of tissues, books of stamps, calculators, nice/plain men’s tote or professional bags for graduates, men’s stationery sets/thank you cards sets/blank card sets –professional.
It’s easy! We’ll drop off and pick up the collection bins and help suggest items for the collection.
All you have to do is set the dates and rally together to fill your bin!

Charlotte Rescue Mission is a partner agency of Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina (SHFBM). SHFBM partners and distributes food and essential grocery items to approximately 550 hunger feeding agencies in 19 counties in North and South Carolina. Agencies served include emergency pantries, soup kitchens, senior programs, shelters and low-income daycares.
