22 May Charlotte Rescue Mission serves Easter meals for those in need (wsoctv 4/16/17)
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Rescue Mission helped those in need celebrate Easter Sunday.
The organization transformed it’s facility in uptown Charlotte into a fine dining room experience for those in need of a hot breakfast and lunch.
Throughout the day, people enjoyed a hot breakfast, movies in the chapel and classroom and a traditional Easter lunch with turkey, ham and all the fixings.
The Charlotte Rescue Mission’s executive director Rev. Rob Marciano said all are welcome in their doors.
“If you don’t have a place to celebrate Easter, you’re welcome to come here. We just want to make God’s love so real that you can touch it,” Marciano said.
